After 44 minutes of play, Branco FC's Sotiris Vergos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herbert Good was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sotiris Vergos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl Hilti charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
