Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgard Cabral started the match with the kick off. If Edgard Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasone Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Cabral in the 6th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simón Villalta to maneuver through the defense. Mané Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patxi Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Patxi Claude came free, but Mané Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Patxi Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Mar Acou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jarbas Brito fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goiás Esporte Clube's protests and gave Jarbas Brito a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Brito. Patxi Claude scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laércio de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Mané Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Claude in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Jorge-Luis Sivieri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mané Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Christian Carioca got a free kick in the 34th minute. Osmar de Moraes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes Goiás Esporte Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 冰谷 谢霆锋 who took care of the corner kick. Mané Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Claude in the 41st minute of play. Mané Quirino came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Zorros del Desierto's Jorge-Luis Sivieri. But to his dismay, Jorge-Luis Sivieri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 47th minute Patxi Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Zorros del Desierto were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jorge-Luis Sivieri made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Patxi Claude ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patxi Claude in the 64th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Mané Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Jasone Ovando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Goiás Esporte Clube's Mané Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patxi Claude in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Jasone Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Cabral in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Pinho during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Rafa Pinho got a free kick in the 84th minute. Goiás Esporte Clube were furious when Jarbas Brito was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Goiás Esporte Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zorros del Desierto:s goal. When the match had been going on for 90 minutes, Zorros del Desierto's Rodrigo Pérez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mané Quirino. 93 minutes into the game, Christian Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. In the 94th minute, one of Goiás Esporte Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goiás Esporte Clube. Goiás Esporte Clube:s Mané Quirino showed great skill when he stopped Rodrigo Pérez:s penalty. In the 97th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mar Acou to maneuver through the defense. The Zorros del Desierto players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
