In the 9th minute, Edgard Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SnapperHeads F.C. getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Case Hicks hit a great ball. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Case Hicks managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benigno Ixona in the 21 minute of the game. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Arneil Ambrose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Cabral in the 32nd minute of play. Edgard Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arneil Ambrose having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kenneth Erwin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mané Quirino. That made the score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. SnapperHeads F.C.'s Arneil Ambrose played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Carioca in the 39th minute of play. Arneil Ambrose showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Edgard Cabral made a precise shot to the right of Arneil Ambrose. SnapperHeads F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Amílton do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, Goiás Esporte Clube's Mané Quirino got control of the ball when Mark Bunworth tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Edgard Cabral made the kick off in the second half. Arneil Ambrose stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Cabral's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Bundy in the 55th minute of play forced Goiás Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Mané Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Goiás Esporte Clube's Osmar de Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Goiás Esporte Clube's Mané Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Mcquoid in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Edgard Cabral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Arneil Ambrose was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Case Hicks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th match minute, Goiás Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Brito to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Tom Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Dale Mcquoid cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Mané Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the game, SnapperHeads F.C.'s Mark Bunworth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mané Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Dale Mcquoid took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Quirino. Mané Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. When the referee ended the match the SnapperHeads F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
