After a defensive mix-up in Mitschullen SSA's zone, Cristiano Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damazy Popowicz came out of the goal and Cristiano Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mitschullen SSA's Damazy Popowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto dos Santos in the 22nd minute of play. Kaká Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 柳峰义, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Luan Vale took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damazy Popowicz. Damazy Popowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Mitschullen SSA's Fabian Teofila got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd match minute, Mitschullen SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Tabor to maneuver through the defense. Jenipapo SC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Aureliusz Basinski scored to the left of an out of position Kaká Lopes, making the score, 2-2. Flavinho Britto hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliusz Basinski was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, 柳峰义 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaká Lopes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Mitschullen SSA's Damazy Popowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Mitschullen SSA from getting a goal against them. Mitschullen SSA's Aureliusz Basinski pulled a muscle in his leg after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Luisão Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisão Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Damazy Popowicz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Damazy Popowicz made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Leonardo Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the game, Donato Tabor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Kaká Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leonardo Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Damazy Popowicz made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Tabor in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaká Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonardo Magalhães in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Damazy Popowicz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Donato Tabor scored 5-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaká Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mitschullen SSA's Damazy Popowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mitschullen SSA from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the game, Leonardo Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Damazy Popowicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jenipapo SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
