In the 20th minute Leo Su shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panos Kamarinakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Nikos Kosmidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Braulio Jeraldo. Falconara Albanese's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikos Kosmidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Braulio Jeraldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikos Kosmidis slotted it home off the left post making it 5-3 in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Falconara Albanese fully deserved thier win.
