When Fotis Tatsis fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Milan's protests and gave Fotis Tatsis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bezek booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Tatsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panos Kamarinakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Prusinowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikos Kosmidis in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maciej Mielcarz saved Bezek from getting behind. Damian Pacholewski kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Nikos Kosmidis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maciej Mielcarz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bezek's Maciej Mielcarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kosmidis in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Big Lebowski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AC Milan's Panos Kamarinakis. Panos Kamarinakis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Spyros Spanakis charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 55th minute, Bezek's Big Lebowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Panos Kamarinakis. Panos Kamarinakis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a little luck, AC Milan's Panos Kamarinakis got control of the ball when Damian Pacholewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bezek's Maciej Mielcarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aris Kortzidis in the 59th minute of play. If Damazy Bierfass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Bezek's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Kosmidis came free, but Maciej Mielcarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Big Lebowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bezek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Big Lebowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Panos Kamarinakis came out and tried to block the shot, but Big Lebowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 73rd minute. Panos Kamarinakis was a little too slow when Gustaw Prusinowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-7. Andreas Tarsanas hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 81 minutes, Andreas Tarsanas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Milan and the Bezek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Andreas Tarsanas got a free kick in the 81st minute. Bezek's Big Lebowski got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Big Lebowski in the 92nd minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Panos Kamarinakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
