Sálvio Sá started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Esbjörn Hybbert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Leal. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Leal should have stopped the shot. FC Blueskatterna's Zebastian Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Madeira in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Blueskatterna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Madeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Clube Patrício's players had a chance to rest. Sporting Clube Patrício's Albérico Figueiras was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zebastian Österlund in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Esbjörn Hybbert's late challenge caught a Sporting Clube Patrício's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Hybbert helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Esbjörn Hybbert hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Madeira in the 13th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Zebastian Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Josef Drewitz had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Cassiano Severo fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Clube Patrício's protests and gave Cassiano Severo a yellow card for diving instead. FC Blueskatterna made a substitution. Daniel Västberg replaced Josef Drewitz. In the 16th match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cassiano Severo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when FC Blueskatterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Västberg hit a great ball. Zebastian Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albérico Figueiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvin Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Nässén to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Blueskatterna's Daniel Västberg suffered a sore thigh after 50 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cassiano Severo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 50 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Cassiano Severo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. Viriato Leal made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Simon Svensson sent off a good shot on target. Zebastian Österlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Trindade in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Clube Patrício booed when FC Blueskatterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sporting Clube Patrício's Sálvio Sá in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Viriato Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Nässén in the 73rd minute of the match. David Madeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zebastian Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Madeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, FC Blueskatterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Folke Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Simon Svensson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Emanuel Madeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zebastian Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes FC Blueskatterna got a freekick which was hit by Ted Nässén. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Blueskatterna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
