Estrela Solitária's Milosz Kluska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Pacho in the 3rd minute of play. Milosz Kluska took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Pacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Paulino Frechoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Paulino Frechoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milosz Kluska was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Club Atlético Atlanta's Alvaro Ignatius in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrela Solitária's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Enio Ortiz got a free kick in the 34th minute. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meng Ran in the 41st minute of the match. Gigi Riva kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Ruud Gullit scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Germano, making the score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Agustin Pacho made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute Stig Stålman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Paulino Frechoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Gullit in the 89th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meng Ran in the 90th minute of the match. Milosz Kluska made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Pacho in the 92nd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
