The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Ruud Gullit made a precise shot to the right of Emerson Leal. Espigão Steamrollers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Renan Rosa came free, but Milosz Kluska reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Cícero Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrela Solitária and the Espigão Steamrollers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The tension between the Espigão Steamrollers and the Estrela Solitária players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Estrela Solitária booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruud Gullit scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emerson Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Ruud Gullit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emerson Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Estrela Solitária's Cícero Abreu got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Cícero Abreu off the ground. In the 39th match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Abreu to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Gullit came free, but Emerson Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Patryk Trela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Solitária's supporters rose to their feet, but Patryk Trela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Leal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patryk Trela made a kick off. Emerson Leal was a little too slow when Ruud Gullit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-4. 58 minutes into the game, Espigão Steamrollers's Válter Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Milosz Kluska made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Milosz Kluska showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Paranaense in the 66th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Meng Ran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Dei. In the 77th minute Patryk Trela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruud Gullit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Leal was a little too slow when Patryk Trela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-6. Meng Ran hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Espigão Steamrollers got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Pimenta. The Estrela Solitária players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
