The crowd rose to their feet as Aras Daman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Germano. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Javier Botello scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yıldırım Yaman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 18 minutes, Binali Hicabi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binali Hicabi to maneuver through the defense. Oğuzalp Ak kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gaston Joanes hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the game, Demarcus Andersen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Demarcus Andersen kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Uğurcan Oğuzalp. If Tuncer İribaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuncer İribaşs short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Carlos Germano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yıldırım Yaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Daman to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Evren Tanfer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Germano. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Javier Botello to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncer İribaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Gaston Joanes got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Gaston Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evren Tanfer struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Carlos Germano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Ignatius in the 64th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Joanes in the 69th minute of play. Aras Daman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirşah Serdinç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Binali Hicabi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Javier Botello sped through Fenerbahçe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuncer İribaş in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Gaston Joanes got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 88 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Gerazan. Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulino Frechoso 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. In the 95th minute, Demarcus Andersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
