The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Pacho was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Meng Ran. Téo de Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Téo de Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Téo de Castro. Luís Fernando Proença got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruud Gullit in the 64th minute of play. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruud Gullit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bernardo Ranolfo came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Ranolfo couldn't finish the play. Ruud Gullit kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Estrela Solitária's Cícero Abreu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gaston Joanes, made in the 85th minute of the game. Cícero Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Gullit, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ruud Gullit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Gullit. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
