In the 18th minute Braulio Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvino Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Braulio Neto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvino Morais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Narciso Jesco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jorge Ponc hit a great ball. If Nicolau Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolau Soeiro in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zoran Zahrádka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antonio Calisto made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Alberto Brandao however managed to control. Zuberbühler FC's Zoran Zahrádka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Zuberbühler FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gremio Viana the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Zuberbühler FC's Braulio Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvino Morais. That made the score 0-3 after 90 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zuberbühler FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
