Gremio Viana's Hilário Borba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Sæter in the 18th minute of play. If Nicolau Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christian Haug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolau Soeiro in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Marius Larsen got a free kick in the 37th minute. Salvador Resende struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Christian Haug didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gremio Viana. In the 39th minute, Despot Majetić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolau Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Haug having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Fridtjof Meier got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Nicolau Soeiro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Haug. After the first half Gremio Viana were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolau Soeiro to make the kick off. Fridtjof Meier hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Nicolau Soeiros short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Christian Haug to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Gremio Viana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Despot Majetić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Valido hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. When Gremio Viana's Nicolau Soeiro in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kjønstad BF's goalie prevented a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Christian Haug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolau Soeiro. Nicolau Soeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Haug came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolau Soeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 93rd minute.
