Reynaldo Rios started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Elivareo came free, but Christian Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Haug didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Galo went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th match minute, Unidad de Matanza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Lopez to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ivar Bjørgo in the 18th minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Octavio Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Delfino came free, but Christian Haug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 21 minutes on the clock, Matias Peyo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Matias Peyo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Unidad de Matanza's Octavio Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Clausen in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Unidad de Matanza's Segundo Delfino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Haug was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philip Sjøberg's late challenge caught a Unidad de Matanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Sjøberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Sjøberg to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes, Guaberto Henric mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidad de Matanza and the Kjønstad BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Guaberto Henric hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octavio Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Clausen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Jan-Ivar Bjørgo made the kick off in the second half. Segundo Delfino scored 0-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Haug, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Clausen came free, but Octavio Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Jonathan Sæter got a free kick in the 68th minute. Octavio Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Sæter, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Jonathan Sæter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kjønstad BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Sæter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Rios was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidad de Matanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kjønstad BF the free kick. A collision led to Unidad de Matanza getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Reynaldo Rios hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Unidad de Matanza defense, Jan-Ivar Bjørgo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Raymond. The Unidad de Matanza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Raymond should have stopped the shot.
