In the 5th minute, Sílvio Luiz Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Inocente in the 6th minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper João Pedro Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Claudio Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guansa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Henrico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Diamante Negro DK - VV's João Carlos Castro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Frisco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamante Negro DK - VV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Christian Inocente scored to the left of an out of position João Pedro Alvarenga, making the score, 2-1. 38 minutes into the game, Claudio Henrico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guansa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diamante Negro DK - VV the free kick. After 38 played minutes Guansa got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Henrico. Bartolo Oto struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. João Pedro Alvarenga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guansa.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Inocente made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Oto came free, but João Pedro Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Galtero kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Inocente came free, but João Pedro Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Christian Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Diamante Negro DK - VV defense, Claudio Henrico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Pedro Alvarenga. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Pedro Alvarenga should have stopped the shot. Valentin Enaut hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Christian Inocente hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Dário Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diamante Negro DK - VV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dário Teles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Inocente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Alvarenga having to interfere. After 86 minutes, Dário Teles mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diamante Negro DK - VV and the Guansa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Dário Teles. Guansa's Ciro Frisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Guansa from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Inocente in the 90th minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper João Pedro Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Pitta. For all the effort they put into the match, the Diamante Negro DK - VV players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guansa.
