With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathieu Tippelt in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Herena saved Lagrima en Jarrita from getting behind. If Gavino Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lagrima en Jarrita's Lucas Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathieu Tippelt in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Bizi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathieu Tippelt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adam Jäckel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Jäckel struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Lucas Herena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hertha 1969. If Dante Jakob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erich Pietta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Cordario in the 25th minute of the match. Adam Jäckel took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Herena. Lucas Herena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Tippelt came free, but Lucas Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Klemens Teubner came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Hertha 1969 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klemens Teubner couldn't finish the play. Mathieu Tippelt kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Mathieu Tippelt took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Herena. Lucas Herena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Jäckel to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Adam Jäckel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Herena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klemens Teubner in the 57th minute of play forced Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Lucas Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathieu Tippelt in the 59th minute. Lagrima en Jarrita's Lucas Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jäckel in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Mark Stripf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Herena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dante Jakob hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Mathieu Tippelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucas Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Aurelio Bizi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 72 minutes, Jörn Achleitner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hertha 1969 and the Lagrima en Jarrita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erich Pietta came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Lagrima en Jarrita's Emanuel Guillelme. But to his dismay, Emanuel Guillelme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Lucas Herena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Jakob in the 79th minute. With his leg Lucas Herena managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Hertha 1969's Mathieu Tippelt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Mathieu Tippelt could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Lucas Herena however easily saved by the left post. When the match was over Hertha 1969 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lagrima en Jarrita throughout the match.
