In the 9th minute, Guto Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Herena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Red Dragon FC - DMZ booed when Lagrima en Jarrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Ernesto Dionísio got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 15 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Freire. 17 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Bazil came free, but Leonardo Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lucas Herena made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Leonardo de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Giovani de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 30th minute Apolo Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Bazil kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Guto Maia sped through Lagrima en Jarrita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Herena. After a defensive mix-up in Lagrima en Jarrita's zone, José Maria Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Herena came out of the goal and José Maria Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes Lagrima en Jarrita got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Cordario. After recieving a nice pass, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Ernesto Dionísio tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. José Maria Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Herena having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Maria Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Mathias Freire came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Freire couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Maia in the 54th minute of play forced Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Lucas Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lagrima en Jarrita's Lucas Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Maia in the 56th minute of play. Lucas Herena came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Dragon FC - DMZ's José Maria Teixeira. But to his dismay, José Maria Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 61st minute Guto Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Leonardo Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Red Dragon FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Carlos Eduardo Arce got a free kick in the 66th minute. Leonardo Trancoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Bizi in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guto Maia in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Herena saved Lagrima en Jarrita from getting behind. Lucas Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 79 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Maia came free, but Lucas Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Guto Maia in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lagrima en Jarrita's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute of the match, Apolo Olayo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonardo Trancoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lucas Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Maia in the 87th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Cordario came free, but Leonardo Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mathias Freire fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Dragon FC - DMZ's protests and gave Mathias Freire a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Red Dragon FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mathias Freire hit a great ball. Leonardo Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Red Dragon FC - DMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
