Benicio Garoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Mussoll's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Franco Mussoll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Mussoll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mellington Chirivoga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Paja Pajazo in the 93rd minute really tested Zuriko Lagala's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Inter de Guayaquil FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
