Örjan Löfskog made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Alarcón Mallavia. Örjan Löfskog's late challenge caught a Inter de Guayaquil FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Örjan Löfskog helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Örjan Löfskog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Wennersten in the 28th minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Zuriko Lagala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mellington Chirivoga was the one to do the kick off. When Örjan Löfskog was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 54th minute, Örjan Löfskog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Franco Mussoll cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pinkus Berntsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Mellington Chirivoga got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zuriko Lagala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Axel Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sånna goa grejer FC's Pinkus Berntsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Mussoll in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes, Mellington Chirivoga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter de Guayaquil FC and the Sånna goa grejer FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sånna goa grejer FC booed when Inter de Guayaquil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mellington Chirivoga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Sånna goa grejer FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sånna goa grejer FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Inter de Guayaquil FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
