Municipales FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nahuel Bustos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Municipales FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sergio Regis hit a great ball. Aquiles Nafarroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nahuel Bustos in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as TALLERES's Nahuel Bustos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aquiles Nafarroa. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Nicanor Osorio's late challenge caught a Municipales FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes TALLERES got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Osorio. The supporters of Municipales FC booed when TALLERES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julián Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nahuel Bustos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Osorio got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to TALLERES getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Nicanor Osorio hit a great ball. Camilo Leobardo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the game, Nahuel Bustos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Aquiles Nafarroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mario Cuenca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Nicholas in the 65th minute of play. Mario Cuenca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Nicholas in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Nicholas in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Cuenca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Candido Precioso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mario Cuenca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, TALLERES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. When Esteve Nicholas came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Municipales FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Nicholas couldn't finish the play. Aquiles Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Castel in the 88th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The TALLERES fans cheered their team off the field, for while Municipales FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
