When Mitch Beard fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dorking United FC's protests and gave Mitch Beard a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Dorking United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Beard. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Syd Brazier successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Nahas in the 6th minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Syd Brazier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Syd Brazier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ozzy Goodall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jeronimo Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Beard came free, but Jeronimo Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Atlético Escocia getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Natalio Oliveiro hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Rufus Sparkes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Denis Amos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dorking United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Escocia the free kick. Denis Amos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Flavio Ricart lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atlético Escocia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! If Trey Seal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeronimo Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitch Beard in the 38th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Club Atlético Escocia got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Lapurdi. After 44 minutes, Trey Seal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Escocia's Jeronimo Mon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Dorking United FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Club Atlético Escocia's Baltasar Elazar was substituted for Carlos Lapurdi. The wind increased when Leonel Caponi made the kick off in the second half. Leonel Caponi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Marcos Beturian's late challenge caught a Dorking United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Beturian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Beturian to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Dorking United FC's Jeronimo Mon threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Al Pool, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Syd Brazier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Caponi in the 68th minute of play. Dorking United FC's Syd Brazier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Caponi in the 70th minute of play. If Ozzy Goodall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trey Seal helped the player get up and apologised. Syd Brazier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Tolino in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Tolino in the 87th minute of play forced Dorking United FC's goalkeeper Syd Brazier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorking United FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
