Wilson Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mátyás Török in the 8th minute of play. Ferenc Sárkány kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Cearense to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Mátyás Török notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BRASIL.Sp's Wilson Quadros. Wilson Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fabiano de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, László Pálinkás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BRASIL.Sp's goalkeeper Wilson Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Percy Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Gyula Grosics made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Percy Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

BRASIL.Sp's Fabiano de Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. András Hámori could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Wilson Quadros made a huge save. In the 57th minute, SÉ SE's Mátyás Török dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Gyula Grosics took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Bucesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, SÉ SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Csank to maneuver through the defense. Leonel Vaz's late challenge caught a SÉ SE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Vaz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Leonel Vaz hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Vaz came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gyula Grosics showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gyula Grosics showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Vaz in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of SÉ SE booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 82 played minutes BRASIL.Sp got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Leão. In the 85th match minute, SÉ SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pál Pulai to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, SÉ SE's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Cearense came free, but Gyula Grosics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Leonel Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Grosics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute of the match, Mátyás Török tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Quadros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The SÉ SE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SÉ SE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
