Branden Shelton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rene Higuita made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Paco Cano sent off a good shot on target. When Kozma Kurti fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored K.F TIRANA's protests and gave Kozma Kurti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, K.F TIRANA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kozma Kurti to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Lucas Langoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branden Shelton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 14thth minute of the game Lucas Langoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roque James struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Branden Shelton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ..Villa Rugby Club... After 17 played minutes K.F TIRANA got a freekick which was hit by Elvis Durollari. Rene Higuita made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Paco Cano sent off a good shot on target. Manuel Iban was slow to take the kick. During this time ..Villa Rugby Club..'s players had a chance to rest. 37 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Langoni came free, but Branden Shelton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Lucas Langoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branden Shelton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Langoni in the 40th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Lucas Langoni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Lucas Langoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branden Shelton was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paco Cano made the kick off in the second half. Elvis Durollari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Roman Wodaszak's late challenge caught a ..Villa Rugby Club..'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Wodaszak helped the player get up and apologised. Branden Shelton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Langoni's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Avram Iorgulescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Higuita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Iban came free, but Branden Shelton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Lucas Langoni was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
