Gorom Kanø might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aam Surianto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gorom Kanø ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the game, Hardimen Radius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ubaldo Lluterio. Hardimen Radius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With a little luck, Purple Shadows's Ubaldo Lluterio got control of the ball when M. Andik Wilmansyah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gorom Kanø made a great header on Purple Shadows's corner, it was just that Putra Rewulu's Aam Surianto managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 18 minutes, Gorom Kanø managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Shadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gorom Kanø was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes, Xilo Cortada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purple Shadows and the Putra Rewulu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xilo Cortada hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Purple Shadows's Ubaldo Lluterio got control of the ball when M. Ubaldo Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardimen Radius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Ubaldo Lluterio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorom Kanø in the 46th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Aam Surianto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Beto Centella made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Putra Rewulu's Aam Surianto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and M. Andik Wilmansyah made a kick off. Ubaldo Lluterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anakoz Lembang, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Purple Shadows's Rafettin Üner got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Rafettin Üner off the ground. A collision led to Putra Rewulu getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ruby Jayakesuma hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Aam Surianto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darso Sudarmaji in the 66th minute of play forced Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Ubaldo Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Beto Centella sped through Putra Rewulu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aam Surianto. Ubaldo Lluterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Andik Wilmansyah in the 71st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gorom Kanø got free with Aam Surianto in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers M. Andik Wilmansyah in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Lluterio saved Purple Shadows from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Purple Shadows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomil Harbaszewski to maneuver through the defense. Aam Surianto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Centella in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Putra Rewulu getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hardimen Radius hit a great ball. Aam Surianto made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gorom Kanø sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Purple Shadows were awarded a corner. Gorom Kanø went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Purple Shadows's corner Gorom Kanø fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aam Surianto quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Purple Shadows's Beto Centella slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aam Surianto. That made the score 1-3 after 89 minutes of play. Ubaldo Lluterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardimen Radius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Purple Shadows eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
