The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Kobra TEAM getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Cazimir Botescu hit a great ball. Junior Kobra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Litmanen in the 3rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Kobra TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Mitică didn't get a good kick on the ball. Junior Kobra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Litmanen in the 7th minute of the match. Junior Kobra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Lio went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Lio got free with Junior Kobra in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Jairo Lenzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Elg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior Kobra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jari Litmanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, FC Kurdistan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Lio to maneuver through the defense. Junior Kobra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jari Litmanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to FC Kurdistan getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Allan Isaksson hit a great ball. FC Kurdistan's Mats Elg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Tiţe in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Marco Lio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Junior Kobra. Marco Lio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 43 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Marco Lio. A collision led to FC Kurdistan getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fabian Lundström hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Breckenfeld to strike the kick off in the second half. Junior Kobra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Lundström in the 51st minute of the match. Kobra TEAM were furious when Cazimir Botescu was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 50th minute of the game. One of Kobra TEAM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Kurdistan:s goal. Kobra TEAM:s Junior Kobra showed great skill when he stopped Malcolm Benett:s penalty. Junior Kobra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Lundström in the 54th minute of play. Jairo Lenzi hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Lundström in the 57th minute of play forced Kobra TEAM's goalkeeper Junior Kobra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Kurdistan getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Fabian Lundström hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Fabian Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Kobra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jairo Lenzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Lenzi got free with Mats Elg in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurdistan's zone, Jairo Lenzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Elg came out of the goal and Jairo Lenzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jari Litmanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Kobra having to interfere. Junior Kobra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurdistan's zone, Jairo Lenzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Elg came out of the goal and Jairo Lenzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Kurdistan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kobra TEAM had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
