Forza Beşiktaş's Başar Keçeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Dantas in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Vítor Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başar Keçeci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İsmet Tuğsav's late challenge caught a ADCR Loreto United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İsmet Tuğsav helped the player get up and apologised. İsmet Tuğsav kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Forza Beşiktaş's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vítor Dantas 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Vítor Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Başar Keçeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Forza Beşiktaş's Başar Keçeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Dantas in the 21st minute of play. Manuel Malta struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Başar Keçeci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADCR Loreto United FC. The audience was convinced that Mert Hiçsönmez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilário Salgado was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Forza Beşiktaş's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Dantas came free, but Başar Keçeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Forza Beşiktaş's Başar Keçeci got control of the ball when Almiro Casado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Almiro Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başar Keçeci having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Malta got free with Başar Keçeci in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, ADCR Loreto United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Malta to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mert Hiçsönmez was the one to do the kick off. Forza Beşiktaş's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Pires ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Homero Carvalhal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Forza Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Başar Keçeci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute Almiro Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başar Keçeci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Malta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Dantas took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Başar Keçeci. Başar Keçeci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 78 minutes, Manuel Malta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADCR Loreto United FC and the Forza Beşiktaş players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute, Manuel Malta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Hilário Salgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Başar Keçeci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Malta, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, ADCR Loreto United FC's Alexandre Anjos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 86 played minutes ADCR Loreto United FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Manso. In the 90thth minute of the game Mert Hiçsönmez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADCR Loreto United FC's Hilário Salgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ADCR Loreto United FC's Vítor Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ADCR Loreto United FC had played much better football throughout.
