Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Paes kicked off to start the match. When Humberto Paes came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the E.C 2 Janeiro RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Paes couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Caco de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telmo Madureira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Telmo Madureira came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Caco de Lima. But to his dismay, Caco de Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Telmo Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelinho Soeiro in the 18th minute of play. Cacá Breckenfeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Paes in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Tande came free, but Telmo Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Osmar Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of OTTO FC - FSCMZ booed when E.C 2 Janeiro RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caco de Lima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Telmo Madureira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Dé Mattos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Marcelinho Soeiro in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caco de Lima got free with Telmo Madureira in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Humberto Paes scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cacá Breckenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Horácio Tande fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caco de Lima got free with Telmo Madureira in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Zé Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, E.C 2 Janeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Dudu Rossi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Telmo Madureira made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Marcelinho Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Telmo Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save E.C 2 Janeiro RS from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Horácio Tande kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Telmo Madureira. That made the score 1-4 in the 89 minute of play. Marcelinho Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Telmo Madureira made a huge save. OTTO FC - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
