Conny Gullesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Tek in the 8th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Gert Friberger. Leontin Ilieș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliodor Dan to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Lång took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leontin Ilieș. Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Bodil United's Ulf Lång got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Horea Zâncă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leontin Ilieș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Hägg in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Ulf Lång made a precise shot to the right of Leontin Ilieș. Ninjas in Pyjamas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 29 minutes, Cornel Surdilă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ninjas in Pyjamas and the FC Bodil United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cornel Surdilă got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Best Tek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Gullesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Ninjas in Pyjamas's corner Sabin Bojonca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Conny Gullesson quite easily take care of the ball. Best Tek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Bodil United's Conny Gullesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Tek in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bodil United's zone, Best Tek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conny Gullesson came out of the goal and Best Tek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC Bodil United booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Surdilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anders Hägg. Leontin Ilieș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars-Erik Utfal in the 54th minute. After 58 minutes of play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Horea Zâncă made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conny Gullesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cornel Surdilă got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Conny Gullesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Best Tek's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Cornel Surdilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Conny Gullesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Best Tek might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conny Gullesson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Best Tek ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Tek in the 74th minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Conny Gullesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Bodil United booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Surdilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Best Tek got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conny Gullesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Best Tek in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Best Tek in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conny Gullesson saved FC Bodil United from getting behind.
