After 19 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Rene Houseman. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's António Silva got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With an all-out effort, Alijilán returns's Leontin Ilieș threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leandro Garate, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 24 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Best Tek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Naelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ninjas in Pyjamas's attentive Nicodim Codrea managed to snatch the ball when Simon Bautista made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. If Vali Măcrinici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Ibanez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Sagrario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leontin Ilieș firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Best Tek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters rose to their feet, but Best Tek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Alijilán returns's protests and gave Angel Paez a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Angel Paez. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Tek in the 43rd minute of the match. Simon Bautista made in the 46th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leandro Garate however managed to control. Jimeno Seme hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Alijilán returns players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ninjas in Pyjamas were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Seme made a kick off. Best Tek in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lino Naelio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Măcrinici in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Edgar Heerdt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Houseman during the 63rd minute. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Sabin Bojonca got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lino Naelio. After a rather tough play, Alijilán returns's Angel Paez got a free kick in the 98th minute. Sabin Bojonca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
