With a couple of smart ball manuevers Best Tek in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Wieberneit saved Academica Pulheim from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Best Tek put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dariusz Wieberneit. Best Tek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Dariusz Wieberneit made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Vali Măcrinici got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Best Tek made a kick off. Leontin Ilieș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jari Anzengruber in the 56th minute of the match. Vali Măcrinici hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Many of Academica Pulheim's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Academica Pulheim may have spent more time on the ball, but Ninjas in Pyjamas were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
