An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Hägg in the 12th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Gligor hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Lång in the 19th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Gullesson came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ninjas in Pyjamas's Best Tek. But to his dismay, Best Tek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sorin Tăgorean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters rose to their feet, but Sorin Tăgorean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Gullesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by David Grep with Lars-Erik Utfal as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Best Tek in the 39th minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Conny Gullesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, FC Bodil United's goal looked a bit too open when Best Tek came free, but Conny Gullesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Best Tek made a kick off. Sabin Bojonca kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ulf Lång's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leontin Ilieș read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Vali Măcrinici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Gullesson having to interfere. Best Tek scored 0-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Gullesson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Friberger during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Best Tek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes, Fredrik Skoglund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Bodil United and the Ninjas in Pyjamas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Tăgorean. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Grep during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Best Tek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Gullesson having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Sol Campbell. Best Tek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Conny Gullesson made a huge save. The FC Bodil United supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ninjas in Pyjamas's performance. The match ended with a win for Ninjas in Pyjamas.
