Constantino Bemabe took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leontin Ilieș. Leontin Ilieș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alijilán returns's Lino Naelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Alijilán returns from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes of play, Alijilán returns's Jimeno Seme made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leontin Ilieș was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Seme came free, but Leontin Ilieș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Cătălin Perișoară hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Paez charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Paez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Alijilán returns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Best Tek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lino Naelio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 25 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Codrea. Ramón Abila hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cătălin Perișoară hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Edgar Heerdt got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lino Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Best Tek in the 37th minute of play. Alijilán returns's Lino Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Best Tek in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ramón Abila made a precise shot to the right of Leontin Ilieș. Ninjas in Pyjamas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Seme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Alijilán returns booed when Ninjas in Pyjamas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cătălin Perișoară didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leontin Ilieș was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rolando Olayo. In the 55th minute, Răzvan Gligor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Nicodim Codrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leontin Ilieș made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jimeno Seme sent off a good shot on target. Lino Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Best Tek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Alijilán returns's zone, Best Tek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Naelio came out of the goal and Best Tek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Bautista got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramón Abila. Lino Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Best Tek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Best Tek, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Leontin Ilieș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Seme in the 81st minute. Jimeno Seme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Leontin Ilieș made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Houseman in the 87th minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Ramón Abila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alijilán returns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramón Abila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cătălin Perișoară got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 95th minute Rene Houseman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leontin Ilieș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Sol Campbell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ninjas in Pyjamas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alijilán returns the free kick. After 96 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Sol Campbell. The Alijilán returns players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
