In the 6th minute, Pilar FC's Saverio Etxahun seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Saverio Etxahun the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pilar FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Saverio Etxahun had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pilar FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! 7 minutes into the game, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Cauan Arce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Cordairo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Pilar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Lalla to maneuver through the defense.
