The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augusto Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Wilson Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ruy Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Robinho Peixoto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Joinville United - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Syd Black came free, but Wilson Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otávio Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 played minutes Joinville United - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Richard Damião. In the 20th minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Luan de Sousa seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luan de Sousa the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Joinville United - FSCMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luan de Sousa had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 29th minute, Afonsinho Munhoz made a precise shot to the right of Vicent Bull. BLACK BULL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Wilson Amaral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Gines went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Wilson Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Torres in the 37th minute of play. Wilson Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th minute Nando Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Fernando Botelho to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Joinville United - FSCMZ defense, Ruy Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amaral. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amaral should have stopped the shot. BLACK BULL's Vicent Bull played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Munhoz in the 59th minute of play. Wilson Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Martini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruy Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Botelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joinville United - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BLACK BULL the free kick. Luiz Fernando Botelho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Robinho Peixoto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicent Bull skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Damião during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robinho Peixoto's late challenge caught a BLACK BULL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robinho Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Joinville United - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. Vicent Bull showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Munhoz in the 90th minute of the match. Nando Martini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amaral having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Augusto Gines recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Amaral. Augusto Gines showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. BLACK BULL played a much better game than Joinville United - FSCMZ and deserved their victory. The Joinville United - FSCMZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
