Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcos Mederi kicked off to start the match. Mateus Peralta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Luz came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reginaldo Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Marcos Mederi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateus Peralta. Mateus Peralta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Rubio came free, but Mateus Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Michael Ballack ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateus Peralta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Mateus Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Valeny in the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, David Garcez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateus Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Palermo in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 51st minute of the game John Valeny made a throw-in which Rigoberto Ur played forward. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Luz in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bacardi Black Bats's Albérico Roriz got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mateus Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Mederi in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Bacardi Black Bats getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alexandrino Gomes hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Reginaldo Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Price was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Bacardi Black Bats's Mateus Peralta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bacardi Black Bats from getting a goal against them. Luís Carmona hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, Bacardi Black Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandrino Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Michael Ballack sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginaldo Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Benjamin Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Luz came free, but Benjamin Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
