When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sebastian Richie sped through Marshrose's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Hatch. In the 18th minute, Stéphane Dubose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Richie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Hatch was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The corner ended in Celso Burutzagi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marshrose's Santiago Hatch did a great save. After 22 minutes, Celso Burutzagi made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Richie in the 26th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marshrose's Brice Bergman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Quinten. That made the score 2-2 after 27 minutes of play. After 33 played minutes Sajones F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Berdoi. Jason Charron, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sebastian Richie took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Hatch. Santiago Hatch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 40th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Charron to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Hatch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes, Benjamin Berdoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sajones F.C. and the Marshrose players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Berdoi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The Marshrose players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sajones F.C. were winning 2-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Richie was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jason Charron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marshrose's supporters rose to their feet, but Jason Charron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Quinten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Serafino Jerano took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Santiago Hatch to make any attempt to save it. 61 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goalkeeper Santiago Hatch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Quin. 62 minutes into the game, Sammie Laderoute was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marshrose's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sajones F.C. the free kick. After 62 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Sammie Laderoute. Gerardo Quin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Santiago Hatch. Marshrose's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sebastian Richie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sajones F.C.'s Eusebio Urtungo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jame Gilliam, made in the 81st minute of the game. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Richie in the 82nd minute of the match. Sebastian Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th minute Jason Charron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 89 minutes on the clock, German Arnas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sajones F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Jason Charron walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 93 minutes into the game, Sebastian Richie recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Hatch. Sebastian Richie showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. A collision led to Sajones F.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Serafin Ordono hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Sajones F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jame Gilliam came free, but Julio Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Charron in the 99th minute of play. The Sajones F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sajones F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
