A wasted opportunity for Carlisle United. 12 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Vidal came free, but Ruben Rolink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Jacco van Dartel put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiel Donderwinkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Chiel Donderwinkel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, MK Investments's Vince Seaward got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Jacco van Dartel scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ruben Rolink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 洪振义, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacco van Dartel in the 40th minute. If Augusto Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pascal Bults was the one to do the kick off. MK Investments's Ruben Rolink proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save MK Investments from getting a goal against them. Augusto Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duncan Draper kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Carlisle United's 洪振义 got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ruben Rolink. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacco van Dartel in the 83rd minute of play forced Carlisle United's goalkeeper Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Carlinhos Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlisle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carlinhos Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlisle United's protests and gave Carlinhos Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Carlisle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Hakkı Oğuzkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Bults in the 97th minute of the match. Chants of Carlisle United echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as MK Investments had held the ball for most of the match.
