Arne Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Desilets, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Charron in the 4th minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Arne Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Ström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Santiago Hatch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Bengt-Rune Tolsson fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bajen's protests and gave Bengt-Rune Tolsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bajen's Bengt-Rune Tolsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Aurèle Mélançon got a free kick in the 19th minute. Allan Ström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Santiago Hatch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bajen's Allan Ström came free and shot a quick shot against goal 24 minutes in the game, fortunately Santiago Hatch had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Överman in the 25th minute of play. Arne Emander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jame Gilliam in the 33rd minute of play. Arne Emander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Charron in the 34th minute of the match. Arne Emander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rupert McClure went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 42nd match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurèle Mélançon to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Leo Kuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vidar Månsson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes, Marshrose's Jason Charron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arne Emander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marshrose reached it. After 47 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Aurèle Mélançon. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rupert McClure to make the kick off. If Anders Överman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Rupert McClure dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arne Emander, 1-2. In the 61st minute, Edward Desilets made a precise shot to the right of Arne Emander. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 63 played minutes Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Henriksson. In the 64th minute of the match Jason Charron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arne Emander skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th minute, Rupert McClure made a precise shot to the right of Arne Emander. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 70 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Ström came free, but Santiago Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurèle Mélançon in the 71st minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Arne Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Emander made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Edward Desilets sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Överman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Marshrose's Jame Gilliam dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Rupert McClure could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Arne Emander made a huge save. 83 minutes into the game, Rupert McClure cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Arne Emander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rupert McClures short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Arne Emander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Jason Charron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Edward Desilets ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Emander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Marshrose played a much better game than Bajen and deserved their victory. The Bajen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
