The supporters of IFK Fjärås booed when Abandon All Hope was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the IFK Fjärås defense, Tomasz Cipinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jens-Åke Brovall. The IFK Fjärås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jens-Åke Brovall should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Konrad Bjurström got free with Meng Yan Jing in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute of the match IFK Fjärås got a corner. Abandon All Hope's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anton Billvall ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on IFK Fjärås's corner Anton Billvall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Meng Yan Jing quite easily take care of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Abandon All Hope's Jan Pająk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Åke Brovall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Dunajski came free, but Jens-Åke Brovall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abandon All Hope's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
