The supporters of Belotaurus FC booed when FC Aquile Azzurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Benedetti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miro Klose. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miro Klose got free with Gustavo Brasil in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 11 minutes on the clock, Lazaro Alzate commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Aquile Azzurre! The referee gave Belotaurus FC a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulo Renato Arantes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Aquile Azzurre's Angelo Peruzzi. 0-1. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Cunha in the 15th minute of the match. A hard shot 17 in the game by Miro Klose from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Brasil managed to make a qualified save. Belotaurus FC's players were relieved. Belotaurus FC's Gustavo Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Belotaurus FC from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, FC Aquile Azzurre's Miro Klose ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo Brasil. Gustavo Brasil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 23 played minutes FC Aquile Azzurre got a freekick which was hit by Ferruccio Basile. 28 minutes into the match, FC Aquile Azzurre's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Cunha came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Edmílson de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Peruzzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Brasil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miro Klose. Miro Kloses short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Gustavo Brasil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Belotaurus FC's Gustavo Brasil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Belotaurus FC from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Miro Klose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Brasil was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 56 minutes into the game, Miro Klose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gustavo Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Belotaurus FC's zone, Franco Catena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Brasil came out of the goal and Franco Catena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Miro Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Peruzzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enéas Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franco Catena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Peruzzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson de Brito in the 74th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miro Klose came free, but Gustavo Brasil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Catena in the 84th minute of play. FC Aquile Azzurre's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Enéas Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Peruzzi, making the score, 3-2. After 91 played minutes Belotaurus FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Arantes. Gustavo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miro Klose in the 96th minute of the match. Belotaurus FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
