After 9 minutes of play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Jean de Moraes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matheus Carneiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gonçalo Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Luisão Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Rossi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Seco. Mexilhão F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Rossi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Matheus Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Terra in the 29th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Matheus Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matheus Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliézer Terra in the 34th minute of the match. Gonçalo Rossi's late challenge caught a Mexilhão F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. Gonçalo Rossi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zemantauskas FC's Matheus Carneiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Zemantauskas FC from getting a goal against them. Gonçalo Rossi struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Luisão Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zemantauskas FC. 62 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Matheus Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean de Moraes. In the 65th minute, Ademar de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Luisão Seco. Mexilhão F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Alex Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes, Jean de Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexilhão F. C. and the Zemantauskas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jean de Moraes hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Luisão Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gonçalo Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matheus Carneiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliézer Terra in the 78th minute. Luisão Seco came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Zemantauskas FC's Ademar de Amorim. But to his dismay, Ademar de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Téo Luz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Ademar de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
