An unexpectedly hard shot by Nektarios Korakakis in the 23rd minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Claudio Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Vakoufi Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Orlanda came free, but Trifon Iraklideas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Mantarinopoulos during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Orlanda couldn't finish the play. Trifon Iraklideas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vakoufi Utd booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Orlanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Themis Kalimanis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Quentin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacharias Papagiannoulis in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudio Quentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Encarale a la gordita's Eulalio Weather slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trifon Iraklideas. That made the score 4-2 after 71 minutes of play. In the 74th minute Zacharias Papagiannoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Encarale a la gordita getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Eulalio Weather hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Nektarios Korakakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Claudio Quentin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Trifon Iraklideas made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Rodolfo Rito sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Nektarios Korakakis notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Encarale a la gordita's Claudio Quentin. Claudio Quentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vakoufi Utd walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
