Gigi Câmpeanu started the match with the kick off. When International Thunders's Patric Rudersdorfer in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. He was immediately shown a red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC UNIREA Alba Iulia! 16 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Eckstein came free, but Nechifor Oargă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Drăgan to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Rudersdorfer came free, but Nechifor Oargă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nechifor Oargă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Rudersdorfer in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Steffen Steinki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nechifor Oargă skillfully saved the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Benjamin Eckstein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nechifor Oargă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute Benjamin Eckstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Oargă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Patric Rudersdorfer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nechifor Oargă was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 30 minutes, Gavril Niculiță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia and the International Thunders players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of International Thunders booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavril Niculiță didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Eckstein in the 33rd minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Nechifor Oargă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patric Rudersdorfer scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nechifor Oargă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 41 minutes of play, International Thunders's Patric Rudersdorfer made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nechifor Oargă was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. International Thunders were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patric Rudersdorfer to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, International Thunders's Norman Zahn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 57 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Eckstein came free, but Nechifor Oargă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Nechifor Oargă managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when International Thunders's Patric Rudersdorfer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Patric Rudersdorfer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Oargă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Dohr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nechifor Oargă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Eckstein in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin Eckstein kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nechifor Oargă. That made the score 0-6 in the 67 minute of play. The nice shot from Patric Rudersdorfer in the 72ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Nechifor Oargă had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Eckstein in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nechifor Oargă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patric Rudersdorfer had several of the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 80 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Nechifor Oargă as he didn't even see the shot coming. The long shot by Steffen Steinki in the 84th minute really tested Nechifor Oargă's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Nechifor Oargă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrit Dohr in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, International Thunders's Gerrit Dohr ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nechifor Oargă. Nechifor Oargă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. With a little luck, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nechifor Oargă got control of the ball when Patric Rudersdorfer tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Nechifor Oargă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. When the match was over International Thunders could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC UNIREA Alba Iulia throughout the match.
