In the 5th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Prusinowski to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Piotr Adamus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Russówek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave International Thunders the free kick. In the 8th minute, Piotr Adamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the game, Norman Zahn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lech Nakoneczny was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Benjamin Eckstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Nakoneczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Dohr in the 18th minute of play. Russówek were furious when Bernard Trochowski was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Russówek! Russówek:s Lech Nakoneczny showed great skill when he stopped Steffen Steinki:s penalty. In the 22nd minute Roland Schachner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Dohr in the 30th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Lech Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lech Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Zahn, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Moritz Kurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Patric Rudersdorfer hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patric Rudersdorfer made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Dohr in the 57th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Lech Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Klaus Kuster could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Lech Nakoneczny however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Roland Schachner took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Lech Nakoneczny to make any attempt to save it. After 66 played minutes Russówek got a freekick which was hit by Andrzej Solibieda. In the 67th minute, Benjamin Eckstein reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lech Nakoneczny. The goal made the score 0-3. 71 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Eckstein came free, but Lech Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeusz Pozorski in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Teyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Pozorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Lech Nakoneczny was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patric Rudersdorfer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 89 minute of play. With a little luck, Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny got control of the ball when Klaus Kuster tried to sneak it across the goal line. International Thunders's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
