In the 5th minute Moritz Kurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. International Thunders's Ciro Teyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Dziedziak in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Jerzy Deput got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gerrit Dohr kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steffen Steinki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franciszek Wierzbicki hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Dohr came free, but Lech Nakoneczny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrit Dohr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Russówek's goalkeeper Lech Nakoneczny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patric Rudersdorfer. In the 26th minute, Russówek's Bogumil Byczewski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bogumil Byczewski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Russówek protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bogumil Byczewski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Bogumil Byczewski got a free kick in the 26th minute. Patric Rudersdorfer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Lech Nakoneczny skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Wehn in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Tadeusz Pozorski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Teyo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dominik Dziedziak charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dominik Dziedziak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Dziedziak to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Tim Köppen. After 42 minutes International Thunders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominik Dziedziak who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dominik Dziedziak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ciro Teyo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Patric Rudersdorfer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lech Nakoneczny firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrit Dohr got free with Lech Nakoneczny in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franciszek Wierzbicki hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patric Rudersdorfer made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franciszek Wierzbicki to maneuver through the defense. International Thunders's Steffen Steinki got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to International Thunders getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gerrit Dohr hit a great ball. The supporters of Russówek booed when International Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Köppen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patric Rudersdorfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Eckstein in the 67th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Lech Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piotr Adamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Patric Rudersdorfer hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, International Thunders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Dohr to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Russówek got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Prusinowski. In the 82nd minute, Patric Rudersdorfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Benjamin Eckstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Benjamin Eckstein left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The International Thunders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 93 played minutes International Thunders got a freekick which was hit by Uwe Wehn.
