Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Dawayne McJohnny. But to his dismay, Dawayne McJohnny quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marzagão were furious when Gilberto Saraiva was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Marzagão:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 1948 MKS:s goal. In the 20th minute Brandon Cassin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Marzagão defense, Eoghan Barrett kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. The Marzagão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Fernandez should have stopped the shot. In the 30th minute, Robert McCready got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Brandon Cassin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Pedro Luís Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Breasal Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Rosa in the 40th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Brandon Cassin. But to his dismay, Brandon Cassin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After the first half 1948 MKS were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when César Rosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Vides to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Marzagão defense, Brandon Cassin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. The Marzagão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Neil Mar's late challenge caught a 1948 MKS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Neil Mar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Neil Mar got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Barhan Barrett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 67th minute Robert McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Dawayne McJohnny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dawayne McJohnny sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the game, Dawayne McJohnny recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Dawayne McJohnny showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. When Robert McCready fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1948 MKS's protests and gave Robert McCready a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Robert McCready hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luís Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert McCready in the 80th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Dawayne McJohnny came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Dawayne McJohnny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. 93 minutes into the match, Dawayne McJohnny dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Luís Fernandez, 0-11.
