César Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. César Rosa's late challenge caught a FLU ES fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Rosa helped the player get up and apologised. César Rosa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, FLU ES fc's Gilson Xavier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Neil Mar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Maurinho da Costa made a huge save. Inácio Moura hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Maurinho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Rosa in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Gilson Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FLU ES fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marzagão the free kick. After a rather tough play, FLU ES fc's Gilson Xavier got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 26 minutes of play, FLU ES fc's Gilson Xavier made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Neil Mar came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Mar couldn't finish the play. FLU ES fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when César Rosa 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. If Neil Mar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Mar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Maurinho da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilson Xavier to make the kick off. Maurinho da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's César Rosa got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Rosa in the 65th minute of play forced FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Maurinho da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes FLU ES fc got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Vander. César Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho da Costa having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, FLU ES fc's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Mar came free, but Maurinho da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gonçalo Vander during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If César Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Neil Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Mar in the 87th minute of play forced FLU ES fc's goalkeeper Maurinho da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Neil Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although Marzagão had been in control for most of the match, FLU ES fc still came away with the win.
