Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diogenis Priovolos started the match with the kick off. In the 14th minute Diogenis Priovolos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Brolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogenis Priovolos took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Brolin. Georg Brolin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Symeonatos to maneuver through the defense. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ilias Peristeropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Eriksson in the 20th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Diogenis Priovolos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knox BK's Georg Brolin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes Knox BK got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Eriksson. Georg Brolin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diogenis Priovolos's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the game, Roger Skog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knox BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΠΑΟΚ FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Knox BK got a freekick which was hit by Roger Skog. Petros Giannakis kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Elias Ånger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Knox BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Wall to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilias Peristeropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute, Roger Skog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Diogenis Priovolos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Alfred Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anestis Kapataidakis made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alekos Korakakis. Georg Brolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogenis Priovolos in the 80th minute of play. Ilias Peristeropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Skog in the 82nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in ΠΑΟΚ FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! 93 minutes into the match, Alfred Eriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilias Peristeropoulos. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Eriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Knox BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while ΠΑΟΚ FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
