Ilias Peristeropoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diogenis Priovoloss short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Georg Brolin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Knox BK's Roger Skog got a free kick in the 13th minute. After 31 minutes, Alekos Korakakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΠΑΟΚ FC and the Knox BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diogenis Priovolos took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Georg Brolin. Georg Brolin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Wictor Dahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Peristeropoulos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stavros Symeonatos during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Stavros Symeonatos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Wictor Dahlkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Knox BK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Albin Kilberg hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogenis Priovolos made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Albin Kilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Håkan Wall put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Knox BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ΠΑΟΚ FC:s goal. Alekos Korakakis kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes in the game Thomas Papagiotopoulos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Stavros Symeonatos. Wictor Dahlkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilias Peristeropoulos having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Claes Matsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knox BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Matsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilias Peristeropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Georg Brolin. Petros Giannakis kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ilias Peristeropoulos got control of the ball when Wictor Dahlkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line.
