Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Gery Pattimura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Yan Rong in the 11th minute of play. If Pan Yan Rong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clóvis Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clóvis Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Säfvahöjden made a substitution. Joel Classon replaced Pan Yan Rong. In the 39th match minute, Säfvahöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ataulfo Diosdado to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Gery Pattimura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ataulfo Diosdado. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Garro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gery Pattimura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Joel Classon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Säfvahöjden's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Classon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gery Pattimura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Säfvahöjden's Szczepan Adamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 75th minute of play. Szczepan Adamus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 80th minute. After 83 played minutes Coritiba Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Lobo Londrina. Gery Pattimura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Classon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ataulfo Diosdado came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Säfvahöjden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ataulfo Diosdado couldn't finish the play.
